SVA is inspired by the rock formations so typical for the Nordic coastal line. With its naked weathered surface, they are both rough and elegant.
The mirror-like surface of ELV is inspired by how the running water of a stream curiously imitates its surroundings, giving it a new and fascinating appearance. The glass surface seems solid and reflects the room. However when lit, the diffusor is revealed adding an element of surprise. ELV has a dark specular glass shade. By using a traditional glass blowing technique each piece will have its unique differences. The luminaire has a cup shaped diffuser inside the glass shade which gives a soft and pleasant light.
Have you ever seen how the first snowfall softens its surrounding, giving all things a mellow presence? This is what inspired us when we made SNÖ. Its soft design suits every environment. Can very well stand alone, or in groups combining different sizes. SNÖ has a semi-transparent glass dome. By using a traditional glass forming technique each piece will have its unique differences. The luminaire has a light source embedded in a round soft diffuser which seems to be floating inside the glass dome.
DIS is inspired by the thick early morning mist when the sun barely glazes through. The shape grows organically with a continuous curvature, giving each dome the perfect form relative to its size. This makes it suitable as a stand-alone luminaire, as well as combined in clusters. DIS has a calming, natural look with a diffuse glass dome and a growing light intensity. DIS has a matt frosted glass dome. By using a traditional glass forming technique, each piece will feature its own unique finish. The light source is centralized within the dome and emits a light that grows from the inside of the luminaire.
