When we set out to create the Stokke Snoozi, our goal was simple: to design a bassinet that feels as warm, intuitive, and beautifully crafted as the early moments of parenthood themselves. We wanted to move beyond the idea of a nursery product as something static or purely functional. Instead, Snoozi should feel like a natural part of the home — a small piece of contemporary furniture shaped with care.
Every curve, every material choice, and every detail reflects this intention. The soft, rounded silhouette is designed to feel welcoming from every angle, creating a gentle visual presence that blends seamlessly into modern interiors. We chose a lightweight yet robust construction so that Snoozi can move effortlessly with the family, supporting the fluid rhythm of daily life. Mobility isn’t an add‑on; it’s a core design principle. A familiar, cozy sleeping space should always be within reach.
The breathable textiles and firm, supportive mattress were selected not only for comfort, but to create a calm, safe environment that feels like a natural extension of a parent’s embrace. We worked to balance tactile warmth with a clean, Scandinavian clarity — a harmony of softness and structure.
Receiving the Red Dot Design Award 2024 affirmed what we hoped to achieve: a bassinet where thoughtful design elevates everyday moments. For us, Snoozi is more than a place for a baby to sleep. It’s a carefully crafted companion for the first months of life — designed with intention, shaped with empathy, and built to feel at home in every home.
